The FWC Officers Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the sworn law enforcement officers of the FWC and the communities in which they live. Since the 1800s, Florida’s conservation law enforcement officers
have been hardworking protectors of Florida’s unique environment, spending long hours in the woods and waters of the state away from family and friends. These “Sentinels of Conservation” protect Florida’s Fish and Wildlife Resources,
perform more than 1,000 search and rescue missions per year and respond nationwide and within Florida to natural disasters. They are Florida’s largest water-borne law enforcement agency and patrol more than 8,400 miles of coastline,
13,200 square miles of offshore waters and more than 34 million acres of land encompassing private lands, wildlife management areas, state parks and forests.
